Beritan Tayan, Co-mayor of Van's central İpekyolu District Municipality to which a trustee was appointed already, has been taken into custody during a house raid for alleged “engagement in activities on behalf of a terrorist organization”. Tayan has been taken to Van provincial police headquarters.

DBP İpekyolu district Co-chair Rojbin Bor, in addition to Serkan Artım and Davut Metin were also taken into custody.
