Curfew has been declared in the Shapatan village and three hamlets in Hakkari's Şemdinli district.
Curfew has been declared in the Shapatan village and three hamlets in Hakkari's Şemdinli district.
Entrance to and exit from Altunsu (Shapatan) village in Şemdinli was banned this morning as the activities of Turkish military in Hakkari's Şemdinli and Yüksekova districts continue increasingly.
The curfew was later extended to nearby Dereboyu, Meydan and Elde hamlets.
Hakkari Governorate stated that the curfew was put in place because of a military operation.
