As the Turkish state's all-out war against Kurdish population continues uninterrupted, yet another curfew has been imposed in Lice district of Amed.
The curfew declared for 11 villages of Lice came in the wake of the aerial bombardment conducted by Turkish jets in a nearby rural area during the past several days.
According to a statement by Lice district governor's office, the curfew in the villages of Abalı, Örtülü, Saydamlı, Yalımlı, Akçabudak, Ulucak, Kılınçlı, Yorulmaz, Baharlar, Bayırlı and Hedik has gone into effect as of 11:00 this morning and will remain in place until a further notice.
The curfew was based on “operations to be conducted against members of the separatist terrorist organisation in the rural of Lice with the goal of protecting people's security of life and property, maintaining public order and achieving a peaceful environment”.
