Şırnak Governorate has declared a curfew for the Melise (Günyüzü) village of Şırnak's Beytüşşebap district in the wake of an action targeting an armored police vehicle at around 20:30 yesterday evening. At least 3 policemen were taken to hospital after the action with rockets amid reports of following clashes.

The curfew was put into effect as of 03:00 at night. The district is witnessing a military mobilization and deployment since.
