The Turkish state declared a curfew in several villages in Bingöl and Hakkari provinces in North Kurdistan.
A curfew has been declared in the Altınsu (Şapatan) village located at the entrance of Hakkari's Şemdinli district. Entrance to and exit from the village has been banned and special operations forces are conducting a search in the village that houses 5 thousand people.
Bingöl Governorate declared a curfew in 7 villages and 8 neighborhoods in Bingöl's Genç district before the military operation to be launched in mountainous region to the south of the district. The curfew that began at 23:00 last night involves Dikpınar, Gerçekli, Döşekkaya, Üçgül, Kavaklı, Dedebağ and Gözertepe villages, and Demirboğa, Karataş, Çekmece, Araklı Yeniler, Ekinli, Güllüce and Bayramlı neighborhoods.
In the meantime, one village guard was killed and three others got wounded alongside one soldiers during the clashes that broke out in the mentioned region yesterday.
