Curfew’s end exposes state forces’ destruction in Silopi

The partial lifting of the curfew in Silopi exposed the state forces’ pillage and destruction.

Şırnak Governorate partially lifted the curfew in Şırnak’s Silopi district at 04:30 on April 5. The curfew won’t be in effect between 04:30 and 21:30, and the district’s residents began to march to Başak and Barbaros neighborhoods in order to see the state forces’ destruction.

Many residents found rubble in place of their houses, since state forces bombarded civilians’ houses with tanks. After the curfew’s end, state forces are now clearing the remains of destroyed houses with construction vehicles.
