The detention period of DBP co-chair Kamuran Yüksek, who was taken into custody in Amed yesterday, has been extended.

DBP co-chair's lawyer Muzaffer Özdemir said Yüksek was detained related to the press statements he made and he is expected to be taken to court tomorrow.

Following Yüksek's detention late yesterday evening, police forces raided his house and the party building, and conducted searches.
