Demolition by state forces continues in six neighborhoods of Nusaybin

State forces continue their onslaught and destruction in six neighborhoods of Mardin's Nusaybin district.

In Mardin’s Nusaybin district, where 7 curfews had been declared previously, the latest curfew declared on March 14 was partially lifted on July 25.

Turkish military and police forces that remain deployed in the district continue their onslaught on the areas of self-rule with a total destruction.

Six neighborhoods have been surrounded with wire fences and state forces are demolishing the buildings here.

The demolition in Kanika neighborhood, where there are many undamaged houses, was started with construction equipment in the early morning hours today. These undamaged houses remain within the area covered with fire fences to be demolished.

Locals trying to access their houses in this area are driven away by police forces with armored vehicles.
