Gorran (Movement for Change) deputy MP Ali Heme Salih and Komala Islam MP Soran Ömer, who had left Sulaimani for Hewler Tuesday evening were taken into custody at the Pirde (Golden Bridge) asayish check point at the entry of the Hewler city.

The deputies were released and sent back to Sulaimani at around 23:00 local time after facing insults and battery in custody.
