Dersim Municipality Co-mayors Nurhayat Altun and Mehmet Ali Bul, and former mayor Edibe Şahin have have been jailed in the government's latest operations of political genocide. The three politicians have been transferred to Kocaeli No 1 F Type Prison today.

HDP Dersim provincial co-chair Aslan Çağ, DBP provincial co-chair Murat Polat and other politicians arrested in the same operation are on the other hand kept in Elazığ prison.
