Van 2nd Heavy Penal Court has issued detention warrant for Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Van deputies Adem Geveri and Lezgin Botan.

The warrant has reportedly been issued on the grounds that the two deputies did not attent the hearings of the cases opened against them.

Reports suggest that the deputies are also facing a ban on leaving the country and judicial control will be ordered after their testimony.
