Abdullah Kaya, reporter for the closed Dicle News Agency (DIHA) and 8 other people, who had been taken into custody during house raids in Ağrı's Diyadin district on January 18, were referred to court after procedures at police station yesterday evening.
Journalist Kaya and 7 other people who include HDP Taşlıçay district co-chair Ahmet Kaya and HDP Taşlıçay district former co-chair İkram Meşvet were formally arrested for alleged "membership to a terrorist organization".
All the eight people were put in Ağrı M Type Closed Prison.
