In Cizre district of Şırnak where dozens were brutally massacred by state forces in recent days, families gathered outside the municipality as of early morning hours before leaving for the Cudi and Nur neighborhood to learn about the aftermath of wounded people trapped in three basements, from whom no news has been received since the offensive of military and police forces.
Dicle News Agency (DIHA) reporter Beritan İrlan who was near the crowd covering the incidents was taken into custody by special operation police on grounds of “violating the curfew”. She has been taken to Murat Akançay police station.
In the meantime, dozens are trying to walk to the neighborhoods despite the hindrances by state forces.
