Nimet Ölmez, a reporter for Dicle News Agency (DIHA) which was recently shut down in Turkey, was taken into custody in Süphan neighborhood in Van's central İpekyolu district.

Ölmez was taken into custody on grounds of a detention warrant and she was taken to Van provincial police directorate.
