Dozens detained in Van

The Turkish regime continues its political onslaught against the Kurdish population.

Turkish state forces detained at least 30 people in morning raids in Van and its districts.

The raids took place in Van and its districts in the morning. Gendarmerie and police participated in the raids and detained at least 30 people. Lawyers stated that the number of detentions could rise to 60. The reason for mass detention was not disclosed.

The names of some of those detained are as follows: Can Gören, Erol Sarı, Mesut Üçer, İsmet Yakut, Vedat Balık, Diyar Aslan, Cevzet Yücel, Dilgeş Aslan, Ümit Çobanhan, Kenan İldeniz, Kadir Üçer, Abdulkadir Akdağ, Şahin Öztürk, Bulut Kaynak, Azat Kaya, Özgür Duman.
