Violent clashes erupted between SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) fighters and ISIS gangs that attacked Azawî village in Shaddadi region yesterday. Dozens of ISIS members were killed during clashes and corpses of 25 were seized by SDF.

In addition, SDF fighters destroyed 8 vehicles, one tank, two DShK-mounted military vehicles, one bulldozer and 7 motorcycles of the gangs, while 8 bomb-laden cars were detonated before reaching their targets.

SDF fighters started mop-up efforts after repelling the ISIS attack on the village, during which they discovered a large quantity of ammunition belonging to the gangs, including kalashnikov rifles, hand grenades and drones.
