Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair Leyla Güven was stopped and detained while leaving the village of Amara, Urfa where Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan's birthday has been celebrated in the house where he was born. Güven will reportedly be taken to the Urfa Police Department.
On the other hand, Meliha Aktaş, mother of Azadiya Welat editor Rohat Aktaş who was murdered in Cizre, and Peace Mother Hadlê Oğur's husband Cebrail Oğur were also taken into custody in Halfeti district of Urfa after leaving the Amara village.
