DTK-DBP-HDP delegation blocked near Xerabê Bava starts a vigil

The DTK-DBP-HDP delegation that headed to Nusaybin's Xerabê Bava village but was blocked by soldiers on their way have started a vigil where they were stopped.

Soldiers denied a DTK, DBP, HDP and Peace Mothers delegation access to the Xerabê Bava (Koruköy) village in Mardin's Nusaybin district from where reports of executions, torture, disappearances and mass detentions come through amid the ongoing siege of Turkish state forces for 10 days now.

The delegation composed of DTK Co-chair Leyla Güven, HDP Mardin MP Erol Dora, HDP Amed MP Ziya Pir, HDP Batman MP Ayşe Acar Başaran, DBP Group Deputy Chairperson Gülcihan Şimşek, DBP Deputy Co-chair Mehmet Arslan, HDP/DBP administrators from Mardin and Nusaybin and Peace Mothers started a vigil where they were stopped by soldiers 15 kilometers away from the village. The vigil will continue until tomorrow morning.
