The indefinite and irreversible hunger strike of the Kurdish political movement’s constituents demanding immediate communication with Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan continues in its second day. The hunger strike, organised by DTK (Democratic Society Congress), HDK (Peoples' Democratic Congress), KJA (Free Women's Congress), DBP (Democratic Regions' Party) and HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) is being participated by 50 politicians, journalists, artists and laborers.

Hundreds of people including NGO representatives have visited the participants of the hunger strike in DBP Amed building since this morning.

DTK co-chair Hatip Dicle, HDP co-chairs Figen Yüksekdağ and Selahattin Demirtaş, HDK co-chairs Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit and Ertuğrul Kürkçü and HDP deputies have also paid a visit to the hunger strikers today. Visitors and hunger strikers exchanged information about the course of the protest.
