After the soldiers partaking in a military operation in Şırnak's Uludere district, a Turkish unit heading towards Khabour-2 Border Gate were also hit by guerrillas today. According to figures provided by Turkish General Staff, three soldiers died and 10 others were wounded here.
On the other hand, the guerrilla action targeting soldiers partaking in a military operation in Şırnak's Uludere district left at least 5 soldiers dead and 8 others heavily wounded, according to Turkish media reports.
In total, at least 8 soldiers were killed and 18 others were wounded in today's guerrilla actions in Şırnak. Those wounded are reported to be in critical condition.
Local sources report that the number of dead and wounded soldiers is higher.
