Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan’s 69th birthday was celebrated in Shengal by the YBŞ, YJŞ and the people.

Merwan Xwedêda spoke in the name of PADÊ in the event and Şemê Remo spoke in the name of TAJÊ, both celebrating Öcalan’s birthday.

Women planted trees in Geliyê Kersê for April 4 and opened a grove called “Bağxê Serok Apo”.

The Êzidî people danced the halay after the opening ceremony with music by the band Çiyayê Şengalê and saluted Öcalan.

Actors from the Êzîdxan Cultural and Artistic Center staged a play for April 4.
