Explosion in the car of a former PUK politburo member in Sulaymaniyah - UPDATE
It is reported that an explosion occurred in the car of a former politburo member of PUK in Sulaymaniyah city of South Kurdistan.
According to RojNews, an explosion took place in the car of Ata Serawî, a former politburo member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK).
It is reported that the explosion in the Serçinar neighbourhood of Sulaymaniyah city was caused by a bomb planted in the vehicle and did not result in casualties.
Kurdistan Region Asayish (Public Security) Institution made a statement regarding the explosion and said, "There were no casualties as a result of the explosion that took place at 12.00 pm in Serçinar neighbourhood. Security forces who went to the scene started an investigation."
