18-year-old Yusuf Uluğ was seriously injured when a military object exploded while he was grazing his sheep in the Hêvrês village of Bitlis yesterday evening. The teenager was first taken to Bitlis State Hospital, from where he was transferred to Urfa city.

It is reported that Uluğ's right arm was severed from the wrist, and he may lose an eye. He also faces a risk of death.
