People's Defense Forces Press Office (HPG-BIM) has released the footage of a sabotage action conducted by guerrillas near Iğdır province on 8 September 2015.
The action had been carried out in retaliation to the massacre of Kurdish people and aggravated isolation of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan by the Turkish state.
Targeting a military convoy of two armored vehicles and one minibus, the action by HPG guerrillas left 45 special operation police dead, including 3 chiefs.
Recalling the Turkish media reports that 13 police had been killed in the mentioned attack, HPG-BIM said the footage uncovers pro-war media's lies to hide the truths of the ongoing conflict in the country.
The statement by HPG-BIM added that some 20 armored vehicles and helicopters rushed to the scene after the action, and the casualties were removed by soldiers in dozens of civilian cars and ambulances.
