According to Rojnews, clashes broke out between a local Kurdish group and Hashd al-Shaabi in Qelxanlu village near Tuz Kurmatu.
Haci Zudi, a member of Kurdish group, said that the clashes continued for more than five hours and four Hashd al-Shaabi militia members were killed. At least six were wounded.
Kurdish group took control of the village and its surroundings after the clashes.
A local said that Hashd al-Shaabi militia set up control points and collected money from the villagers for the last few days. Those practices raised the tensions in the area and resulted in a violent clash.
