Gerîla TV broadcast the footage of the helicopter shot down by the guerrillas in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area in Metîna on 4 September.

The HPG Press Center statement said the following:

"At 11:50pm on 4 September, helicopter movements were registered in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area in Metîna. A Skorsky type helicopter that wanted to land in the Resistance Area was targeted and shot down by our mobile teams. This helicopter, which was hit heavily, could not take off because it caught fire and burned completely.
