Gerîla TV broadcast footage of an action carried out by guerrillas against the Turkish soldiers in the Werxelê Resistance Area.

The HPG Press Center statement said about the action: "On 23 April, the invading Turkish army around the Werxelê Resistance Area was attacked by our forces. One soldier was killed by one of our snipers."
