Gerîla TV has released footage from an action conducted by guerrillas who targeted a unit of soldiers near the Garê Regiment in Hakkari's Şemdinli district on October 14.

A previous statement released by HPG Press Office back then had given the following details:

“Our guerrilla forces carried out a sabotage action targeting some 30 soldiers as they moved towards an asayish checkpoint near the Garê Regiment in Şemzinan at 06:30, October 14.

12 soldiers were killed as a result of the action, after which Turkish army retrieved the dead and wounded soldiers from the scene with 5 armored vehicles, many ambulances and one Sikorsky helicopter."
