Gerîla TV released the footage of the action carried out by the guerrillas against the Turkish soldiers in the Girê Amediye Resistance Area.

The HPG Press Center statement stated the following: "On 18 August at 1pm one post belonging to the invaders around the Girê Martyr Pîrdoğan battle positions in the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area was targeted and hit. The position was destroyed in this action."
