Gerilla TV has released footage from the action that targeted the Guze Kurke outpost in Şırnak province on September 6.

HPG Press Office said the followings in a statement on the mentioned action:

“Guerrilla forces conducted an action aiming the Guze Kurke outpost in Şırnak province at 12:00 on September 6. The military point which involves three hills was targeted by an aggression.

Guerrillas infiltrated into the positions of Turkish military units and hit these effectively with RPG-7 weapons and bombs. Guerrillas soon took control over these three emplacements and the entrance gate of the outpost as they on the other hand hit and damaged a tank and armored vehicle stationed on a hill.

A total of 11 soldiers were killed in the action. Besides, three MG-3, one BKC, one HK-33 and two G3 weapons were seized but these were destroyed at the scene after involved guerrillas suffered injuries.

5 guerrillas fell martyr in the clashes that erupted during the action and their ID details will be announced later.”
