Gorran Movement group head Gulistan Seîd said that Kurdistan regional government’s parliament should recognize the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.
Gulistan Seîd, head of the Gorran (Change) Movement Group in the Kurdistan Region Parliament, said that the Autonomous Administration should also be officially recognized by the regional government.
“The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has natural resources, a functioning administration and an autonomous governance structure. As we have seen in the last few years, governmental activities have been carried out successfully,” Seîd told RojNews.
‘KURDS SHOULD COOPERATE IN EVERY PART’
Seîd stated that the Autonomous Administration has improved the economic infrastructure, the living conditions of its people and secured the rights of all its citizens. “The Kurds should always cooperate in four parts of Kurdistan. South Kurdistan, especially, should support the other parts. Just as the Kurdistan regional government decided to send peshmerga forces during the Kobanê battle, it should officially recognize the Autonomous Administration today.”
Seîd underlined that there should be a project for an official recognition of the Autonomous Administration by the South Kurdistan parliament, adding; “This project should also be promoted by individual politicians. It should be promoted by all components, different parties and sections in the parliament.”
