Grandfather of 6-month-old baby shot by police also dies

A six-month-old baby died as bullets fired by police at random targeted a house in Sur neighborhood last night. While the baby by the name of Meral İnce died, her grandparents were also shot by police as they tried to rush her to an ambulance outside the neighborhood by waving white flags. Grandmother Rukiye İnce was wounded in the back, and grandfather Ramazan İnce in a foot. Both were taken to Cizre State Hospital for treatment.

Grandfather Ramazan İnce has lost his life at hospital today, while grandmother remains under treatment.

Bodies of the baby and her grandfather Ramazan İnce will reportedly be taken to Şırnak State Hospital morgue.
