HPG Media Center issued a written statement on the recent actions of HPG/YJA Star guerillas, and announced that several soldiers died in Ağrı, Van, Şırnak and Hakkari.

AĞRI

HPG said that guerillas carried out an assassination action against the Turkish soldiers at a military post construction between the Şılê and Ayıbeg villages in Ağrı’s Doğubeyazıt district at 19:30 on June 20, and the post commander was killed during the action.

VAN

The Media Center announced that guerillas carried out an assassination action against the soldiers at Kısımlı outpost in Van’s Başkale district at 05:00 on June 21, and 1 soldier died during the action.

ŞIRNAK

HPG announced that guerillas carried out an assassination against a military vehicle moving between the Şehidan and Martyr Lezgin hills of Şırnak’s Uludere district at 17:15 on June 20, and one counter-guerilla was killed during the action. HPG guerillas also took control of the Geliyê Jêr area in Şırnak’s Beytüşşebap district between 14:00 and 15:00 on June 20, carried out ID checks, and informed the public about the current political process. HPG guerillas also carried out an action against the Çelê Nimêja outpost in Şırnak at 18:30 on June 19, and the numbers of dead and injured soldiers have not yet been clarified.

HAKKARİ

HPG Media Center stated that guerillas carried out an action against the Salara outpost in Medya Defense Zones’ Şemzinan region at 16:30 on June 19, and effectively hit soldiers surrounding a tank.

WARPLANES BOMBARDED HEFTANİN, ZAP AND QANDIL

HPG announced that Turkish warplanes bombarded the Dola Şehit Delîla region of Medya Defense Zones between 22:00 and 22:30, and the Dola Zergelê region of Qandil between 22:30 and 01:00 on June 20, as well as the Cehennem Hill and Çiyayê Reş region of Zap between 10:30 and 10:50 on June 21.

ONE GUERILLA FELL AS MARTYR IN DERSİM

HPG said that one guerilla died during the clashes with state forces on an operation in the Sisik forest and Çeper region of Dersim’s Mazgirt district on June 14. HPG described Kemal Sidar, the fallen HPG guerilla, has performed successfully in Dersim for years and was loved dearly by his comrades. HPG praised the sacrifical struggle of Sidar, and shared the below ID information:
