HPG Media Center issued a written statement on the guerilla actions that have continued without a pause. HPG stated that guerillas carried out an infiltration action from 2 different directions against the Turkish soldiers positioned near Serero village in Hakkari’s Şemzinan district around 18:30 on September 28. 8 soldiers were killed during the action of the first guerilla unit, and 4 soldiers were killed during the action of the second guerilla unit. Guerillas also carried out assassination actions against the soldiers, and 3 soldiers were killed and 2 others were injured. In total, 15 soldiers were killed during the guerilla actions, and the Turkish army retrieved its casualties with Skorsky helicopters around 22:00 on the same day. Guerillas dedicated their action to Ezda Avesta (Sıti Karatay), Viyan Dilara (Fadile Işık) and the guerillas recently martyred.

HPG announced that Turkish soldiers ended their operation, which had begun near the areas of Geliyê Helena, Geliyê Genavê and Kanî Guzkê on September 19, and withdrew without yielding any results on September 27.

HPG Media Center noted that the Turkish army operation near the Mêrgezerê area of Hakkari’s Yüksekova district continues, and Turkish soldiers were deployed to Kadya village and Zeytuna valet in Yüksekova between 06:00 and 09:00 on September 29.

HPG stated that guerillas carried out an assassination action against the soldiers digging trenches near the Tepê Ortê outpost in Hakkari’s Çukurca district at 13:40 on September 29, and 1 soldier was killed during the action.

HPG reported that that Turkish army tanks shelled and destroyed 2 houses in the Dawuşa village of Hakkari’s Çukurca district at 13:40 on September 28, and Turkish soldiers launched a comprehensive operations in the Faraşin, Çalyan, Tılşinê, Kela Cengê, Kani Bêhıştê, Tepê Komando, Gundê Çarçella, Kela Meyrokê, Kela Nix, Kunavê, Melixan, Bêrê Şinê, Tepê Leyzık and Boğaza Gundê Dêrê areas of Şırnak’s Beytüşşebap region on September 27. More information on this operation will soon be shared with the public.

HPG Media Center announced that YJA Star guerillas carried out an assassination action against the soldiers at the Werzıkê outpost in Mardin’s Dargeçit (Kerboran) district at 11:30 on September 29, and 1 soldier was killed during the action.

Turkish army is reported to have carried out reconnaissance flights over Kerboran between 15:00 and 17:00 on September 28, and massing military equipments in the region.

HPG stated that guerillas carried out 2 assassination actions against the battalion in Şırnak’s Balveren(Gundikê Melê) region at 15:30 on September 29 to commemorate Silopi martyrs, and 2 soldiers were killed during the action.

Lastly, HPG noted that Turkish army has been preparing for an operation in and making military shipments to Amed’s Lice, Kulp and Hazro districts with Skorsky helicopters over the past 3 days, and the shipments concentrated on Amed’s Hani district on September 29.
