Guerrilla Welat said: "One dimension of the operation is the use of the air technology. The majority of those who fought on the ground were guards. The soldiers did not dare to do this. The ones on the ground are essentially mercenaries."

Guerrillas are everywhere

Guerrilla Welat added: "It is true that the Turkish state took some hills, but it is not possible for them to take the whole Heftanin, this is just enemy’s propaganda. On the contrary, guerrillas in Heftanin exist and resist in every area. We carried out important against the enemy.”

Guerrilla Welat said that the enemy is now afraid, because “at the beginning of the operation, they hoped to end the guerrilla quickly, circling the valleys and removing us from Heftanin. However, the guerrillas remained there, as opposed to the propaganda spread on Turkish media. They attacked the Turkish enemy on a daily basis.”

Stating that the guerrilla war will break the enemy's strength and motivation, guerrilla Welat said: "The Turkish state will drown in Heftanin. The war may last long. The Turkish state will suffer great losses here, pay a huge price, but won’t succeed. Heftanin will be a grave for the Turkish state."

As to the source of moral and determination for the guerrillas, Welat said: "Undoubtedly, the main source of resistance is Leader Apo [Ocalan], his ideas, our patriotic people, the love of the people, the love of the country and the land. The war against the Turkish state in Heftanin is just beginning. Turks have come, but it will not be easy for them to get out of here."
