Guerrillas destroyed 3 Turkish army positions as a result of an action they carried out in the area of Tepê Dupişk within the scope of the Cenga Heftanin Revolutionary Operation.
Guerrillas destroyed 3 Turkish army positions as a result of an action they carried out in the area of Tepê Dupişk within the scope of the Cenga Heftanin Revolutionary Operation.
The HPG Press Center issued a written statement detailing the latest guerrilla actions and Turkish invasion attacks.
The HPG statement said as follows:
“On 1 July within the scope of the Cenga Heftanin Revolutionary Operation, our forces targeted soldiers in the area of Tepê Dupişk to counter the occupation operation launched by the invading Turkish army against the Heftanin region. As a result of this action, enemy positions were hit successfully: 3 positions were destroyed however, the number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be established.
On 29 and 30 June, the warplanes belonging to the invading Turkish army bombed the Coordinated Hill and the Sheranış valley.
On 30 June at 9 am, the invading Turkish army bombed the area around the village of Minine with howitzers and mortars.
On 27 June the invading Turkish army launched an operation around the Koordine Hill and Martyr Şahan Hill in the region of Xakurkê in Medya Defense Areas. This operation got not results and was ended on 30 June.
On 30 June, the invading Turkish army fighter jets bombed the are of Sininê in the region of Xakurkê. We suffered no losses in these bombardments.”
