Guerrillas hit Turkish attack helicopter in Zap

Guerrilla forces continue inflicting blows on the invading Turkish army in Kurdistan territory.

People’s Defence Forces Press Centre (HPG-BIM) reported that a Turkish attack helicopter was hit by the guerrillas in the Zap region.

The HPG-BIM stated that the Turkish troops were struck by guerrillas in two separate areas in the Zap region.

On September 22, the Turkish soldiers in Girê Şehîd Serxwebûn in the Zap region were hit by our forces with heavy weapons. The exact number of the Turkish casualties could not be clarified.

On September 22, Turkish attack helicopters that went into action to bomb the Kûnîşka area in the Zap region were targeted by our forces. As a result of the effective strikes, one attack helicopter was hit.

In the Werxelê Resistance Area in the Avaşîn region:

On September 22, the invading Turkish army bombed the Werxelê Resistance Area with explosives.

On September 22, the Sîda area in ​​ Zap region was bombed by fighter jets.

On September 22, the areas of Girê Cehennem, Girê Rûbar slopes, Saca, Sîda, Şkefta Birîndara, Karker and Tîpa T in Zap region were bombed by fighter jets and attack helicopters. On the same day at night, Turkish helicopter mobility was observed over the Koordîne and Kînyanîş areas.

From the night hours of September 22 until the morning hours on September 23, Turkish helicopter mobility was observed over the areas of Mervanos, Tabûra Ereba and Girê Silêman in Avaşîn region. During the same hours, the Geliyê Basya, Qartal, Girê Silêman, Girê Şehît Fırat and Girê Şehît Rizgar areas were bombed by attack helicopters.
