Guerrillas hit Turkish soldiers in Çukurca

HPG Press Office released a statement providing details of actions carried out by guerrillas against Turkish soldiers in Çele (Çukurca) district of Hakkari.
Accordingly, guerrillas effectively shot with mortars the positions and container where Turkish soldiers were stationed on Koordine hill at the border of Çukurca at 10.00 am on March 12. While the number of dead and wounded soldiers in this action could not be clarified, the Turkish army indiscriminately bombed the Ciloyê Piçuk zone with howitzers and mortars after the action.
HPG reported another action, in which guerrillas hit with heavy weapons the construction machines operated by the Turkish army on the Martyr Colemerg Hill on the border of Çukurca at 10:00 am on March 11. After the action, the soldiers left the construction machines and fled from the scene.
