Gerîla TV has published a video footage of the weapons confiscated by guerrilla forces from the Turkish army in southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq.

The statement of the HPG about the mentioned action said the following;

“At 11:00 on December 28, our forces carried out an action against a Turkish military unit on Hill Lelikan in Sidekan region of South Kurdistan. The enemy unit was effectively hit from two directions, as a result of which six soldiers were killed and one other was wounded. Our forces then seized the weapons of the targeted Turkish unit.

Following the action, the Turkish army retrieved the dead and wounded soldiers from the scene with combat helicopters and our forces did not suffer any losses in this action.”
