The Press Centre of the People’s Defense Forces (HPG) released a written statement detailing the latest actions carried out by guerrillas against the Turkish army in Kurdistan territory.
The statement published on Monday includes the following:
“On October 28, at 22:30, the Mîlîka outpost in Amed's Pasûr district was targeted in a coordinated action by our forces who effectively struck the entrance of the outpost and its watchtower. While the Turkish army suffered casualties, the exact number couldn't be clarified.
This action was carried out in memory of our immortal comrades who were martyred in Amed.
As part of the Cenga Xabur Revolutionary Campaign in the Heftanîn region:
On October 30 at 11:50, YJA Star (Free Women’s Troops) fighters hit the Turkish soldiers in the Girê Koordîne chain in the Pîrbila area with heavy weapons.
The targets were hit accurately during the course of the action which was carried out as part of the “Time to Defend Free Women and Society Against Femicides” campaign initiated by the KJK (Kurdistan Women's Communities).
As part of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign:
On October 30, at 08:30, the Turkish forces in the Mervanos area in Zap and the Şehîd Munzur area in Avaşîn were targeted by our forces in two simultaneous actions. One surveillance camera and one military position belonging to the Turkish army were damaged.
On October 31, at 12:40, the Turkish soldiers in the Cîloyê Biçûk area in the Zap region were targeted and hit by our two units in coordination. One soldier of the Turkish army was killed here.
On October 31, at 11:00, the Turkish soldiers in Kela Bedewê in the Zap region were targeted by our forces and shot with heavy weapons from two directions. The targets were hit accurately.
On October 31, between 20:00 and 20:20, one Turkish attack helicopter set to bomb the Tîpa T area in the Zap region was targeted by our forces. The attack helicopter was hit and damaged, and the other attack helicopters of the Turkish army withdrew from the area as a result of this action.
On October 30, between 19:00 and 21:30, the Turkish army bombed the Werxelê Resistance Area in Avaşîn with heavy weapons and explosives.
On October 31, between 20:10 and 20:40, Turkish helicopters were active over the Tabura Ereba area in the Avaşîn region.
