The Turkish state has imposed a ban on actions and activities in Hakkari for 15 days after HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Güven was stripped of immunity and detained.
DTK co-chair and HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Güven and Amed MP Musa Farisoğulları were stripped of their parliamentary status on Thursday. Both deputies were arrested last night, a few hours after the decision.
The Hakkari Governorate has issued a 15-day ban on actions and activities, starting today, 5 June, to prevent reactions to the regime's new attack.
The order issued by the governorate once again named the “indivisible integrity” of the state. The ban includes: “Rallies, open-air meetings, demonstrations, marches, sit-in actions, hunger strikes, information tents, press releases, opening stands, concerts, distributing flyers or papers.”
