The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) condemned the assassination of Hüseyin Arasan, a member of the Mesopotamia Workers' Association, in the city of Sulaymaniyah in South Kurdistan.

The statement said: "We strongly condemn the assassination of Hüseyin Arasan, a member of the Mesopotamia Workers' Association, in the city of Sulaymaniyah in South Kurdistan. This attack is the continuation of the massacres of Nagihan Akarsel and dozens of Kurdish patriots. It is the duty of the regional administration to reveal the perpetrators of this murder as soon as possible."
