A delegation from the HDP, headed by co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş, has met with KDP President Masoud Barzani in Pirmam, Southern Kurdistan.

The meeting will reportedly witness a discussion of the situation in the region and developments in Northern and Southern Kurdistan.

HDP co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş said in a short statement to the press after arriving at Hewler Airport that: "The biggest desire of the Kurdish people in four parts of Kurdistan is to see the Kurds, Kurdish leaders and parties standing side by side."
