HDP deputies and Karaman family have been forced to leave Cizre after demanding to enter Cudi neighborhood to retrieve the body of Cihan Karaman who died of wounds last night. Karaman had been wounded two days ago and he died late yesterday evening due to obstruction of access to hospital.

Deputies Ferhat Encü, Leyla Birlik,Tuba Hezer and Karaman family were stopped and hindered by state forces on Cizre Bridge and not allowed access into the neighborhood.

The group was furthermore harassed with the Ottoman Mehter Anthem loudly played from armored vehicles before being forcibly taken out of Cizre. Deputies and family of the slain youth keep waiting in Kasrik town.
