The 'Vigil of Conscience and Justice' launched by HDP parliamentarians in Amed is in its 6th day.
The 'Vigil of Conscience and Justice' in Amed's Ekin Ceren park launched by Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) with the leading motto of "Let us not rest, let's put a halt to fascism", is in its sixth day.
The participants of the vigil held last night a round of talks evaluating the courses of daily events, and discussed the details of the vigil which is progressing for a week.
At the break of the day, after folding their sleeping bags and cleaning the field of the vigil, the parliamentarians had their breakfast and started to read newspaper, articles and books.
Amed's bar association is expected to visit the vigil activists in the course of this day.
Yesterday, HDP co-chairs Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ sent a statement in which they called for strong support to the vigil.
