The onslaught of state forces operating under the guise of a curfew in Mardin's Nusaybin district has entered its 61st day.

While Turkish military and police forces are facing a continued failure to break the resistance despite all the technical means and equipment, violent clashes between state forces and Civil Defense Units YPS / YPS-JIN in Abdülkadirpaşa and Fırat neighborhoods continued till the early hours of the morning.

Huge explosions occurred in the district throughout the night amid an intensified bombardment by state forces. The blasts damaged dozens of houses and workplaces heavily.
