On the third day of the curfew, state forces are shelling Şırnak city center continuously.

While several houses have burned down as a result of attacks, heavy clashes take place when YPS and YPS-JIN retaliate.

The bombing of the city as part of the state forces' genocidal attacks in Şırnak continues non-stop on the third day. In the attacks after AKP declared “curfew”, the city center is under artillery attack from the Çakırsöğüt Gendarmerie Brigade and 23rd Gendarmerie Border Division on commanding hills. While Bahçelievler, Dicle, Cumhuriyet, İsmetpaşa, Yeşilyurt and Gazipaşa neighborhoods where self-government resistance continues are under artillery fire, fire broke out in some houses in Yeşilyurt.

Neighborhoods are being raked by armored vehicles stationed in the exits of the neighborhoods and state institutions turned into military headquarters in the city center. Heavy clashes break out at times when YPS and YPS-JIN members retaliate against the state forces’ attacks accompanied with Ottoman military marches in Yeşilyurt, Dicle and Bahçelievler neighborhoods.

Meanwhile, local reports say one citizen was injured in the attacks last night in the attacks in Dicle Neighborhood. The citizen whose name could not be reached was reported to have been treated in the neighborhood, his condition is stable.
