Many people were massacred and neighborhoods were razed during the genocidal attacks of the Turkish state forces on the province of Şırnak.

Nearly 4900 families were forced to migrate to nearby settlements, and life became more difficult for the people of Şırnak with the arrival of winter.

Kurdish Red Crescent Heyva Sor a Kurdistanê organized an aid campaign to respond to the needs of Şırnak residents, and sent 500 thousand Euros, 25 thousand Swiss Franks and 30 thousand US dollars during the first stage of its campaign.

Heyva Sor a Kurdistanê sent another 500 thousand Euros of aid to the people of Şırnak recently, and continues its Sibling Family Campaign. So far, 865 families received aid through this campaign.

Heyva Sor a Kurdistanê officials announced that they would continue to support the people of Şırnak, and called upon everyone to be more sensitive on this issue.
