Gerîla TV released a new video of the action against the invading Turkish state forces on the Martyr Munzur Hill of Zap between 8 and 9 December.
In the video, a female guerrilla describes what happened that day alongside the confiscated military equipment.
The female guerrilla said: "The enemy did not notice the infiltration until the comrades used individual weapons and bombs." It was stated that thermal weapons were also used in the action.
In the footage, the female guerrilla stated that as soon as the action started, screams were heard among the soldiers. She also showed the seized weapons and underlined that this action was "successful". She added: "This is neither our first action nor will it be our last."
The HPG Press Liaison Center (HPG-BİM) gave the details of this action in its previous statement as follows: "On 8 December, at 2 pm, the positions of the invaders in Girê Martyr Munzur were targeted with heavy weapons and effectively hit. Our mobile guerrilla teams subsequently entered into action and took the positions of the invaders under control from 5 different branches. Our First and Second professional attack teams carried out a simultaneous raid action targeting 2 positions and 1 camellia belonging to the invaders at 1 am. The first group hit the position of the invaders with hand grenades and personal weapons. The 5 invaders in the position were killed and our forces seized 2 M-16 guns, 1 grenade launcher, 1 BKC gun, 1 bag and a lot of military equipment. The second group hit 2 positions belonging to the invaders with hand grenades and personal weapons. Our forces completely destroyed 2 positions and approached the bodies of 3 invaders. The third group entered into action at the same time. The occupiers in Girê Martyr Munzur came under intense fire and were effectively hit. Within the scope of the Revolutionary Operation, the fourth and fifth groups also destroyed the determined targets by hitting the invaders in Kela Bedewê with heavy weapons."
