In a written statement, HPG Media Center announced that the special war media of the Turkish state was fabricating news on the dirty war of the Turkish state in Kurdistan, and said that these reports are absurd and aim to deceive the society.

HAKKARİ

HPG stated that as part of the Martyr Arnos Revolutionary Initiative, guerrillas carried out an action from 4 directions targeting the Turkish soldiers’ positions at Elişêr Hill in Hakkari’s Yüksekova district at 11:00 on October 31. The first guerrilla unit destroyed 4 army positions, the second guerrilla unit destroyed 2 positions, the third guerrilla unit destroyed 4 positions and 4 tents, and the fourth guerrilla unit hit the remaining positions on the hillside. Guerrillas also shelled the area with artillery, and 36 soldiers were killed and many guns and ammunition were seized during the action.

While the Turkish army randomly bombarded the area between 13:00 and 17:00 after the action, guerrillas hit and damaged a Sikorsky helicopter in the area. 4 guerrillas fell as martyrs during the action, which was dedicated to the guerrillas such as Martyr Medeni and Martyr Ekin that recently fell on Elişêr Hill.

HPG noted that Turkish soldiers ended the operation they had launched in the Tılora, Kuçê, Leskan, Muşanê, Terê, Memkava, Xurekanê, Şişemzin, Dodka, Delezê, Dirik and Aylava villages in Hakkari’s Yüksekova district at 22:00 on October 29 without yielding any results in the morning of October 31.

MARDİN

Turkish soldiers and village guards launched an operation near the Derqup and Rovr villages in Mardin’s Kerboran district on October 28, and brief clashes took place between guerrillas and soldiers.

AMED

Guerrillas downed a Turkish drone carrying out reconnaissance flights over the Martyr Rojhilat area between the Lice and Hani districts of Amed, and have possession of the drone’s wreckage.

AERIAL ATTACK

Turkish warplanes bombarded the Sıpê village in Medya Defense Zones’ Zap region between 15:15 and 19:00 on October 31, and the Kınyanış area around 13:15.

SPECIAL WAR MEDIA FABRICATING NEWS

Lastly, HPG stated that the special war media in Turkey has been deceiving the public with its news articles on the capture of a high-ranking HPG member with key information about the Kurdish movement, and announced that the person in question is a former low-ranking guerrilla who ran away from an HPG prison, to which he had been originally put for having committed a crime.
